Steps to Hire a Food Truck for an On-campus Event

These steps have been provided for student groups and/or Student Affairs staff who wish to hire a food truck for an on-campus event. Hiring a food truck requires additional documentation from the food truck vendor so it is recommended to allow a minimum of six (6) to eight (8) weeks prior to the event to complete the steps below.

Sodexo, DU’s dining partner, also has a list of food truck companies. In addition, as of May 2023, Sodexo will have an electric food cart operating on campus for hire. For more information about either of these please contact Tracy.Williams@Sodexo.com.
